Thanks Carol
Big two points heading into the Christmas break for the Canucks. They need to keep the momentum for the new year. |

Haven't heard anything about our Christmas party yet, Carol. I'm still keeping Saturday night open just in case. - Marwood
I'll bring the Vodka. Is grey Goose ok with everybody? |

Thank God that Lucic will continue to defend Vancouver, I was really concerned what would happen to the city if our savior Milan wouldn't defend us any more. |

Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Game Day: December 19 at Dallas, Stanton on IR
The Vancouver Canucks hope to bounce back from a shootout loss to Minnesota when they visit the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center on Thursday. - Carol Schram
"He talks about "getting punished for pulling the goalie." I'm not sure what he means by that—is there a rule against pulling the goalie in overtime?"
84.2 Overtime – Regular-season – Extra Attacker - A team shall be allowed to pull its goalkeeper in favor of an additional skater in the overtime period. However, should that team lose the game during the time in which the goalkeeper has been removed, it would forfeit the automatic point gained in the tie at the end of regulation play |

Thanks, I hadn't heard that before. That is harsh and, as Torts says, counterintuitive when the league should be trying to encourage scoring.
What if both teams pulled their goalies? Five-on-five with no one in net.... |

Sorry to disappoint. I'm not much of a party planner. I just show up and spin—and I've done a lot of that this holiday season! |

Instead of shootouts it should be 5 on 5 no goalies for 1 minute.
Faceoff at centre ice. |

I wonder if we'd all hate shootouts as much if the Canucks were awesome at them. |

We're better off with Booth. Booth's body might be held together with duct tape, but Briere's is held together with a few twigs and a piece of string. |

I disagree. Briere can create offense. He's a big game player and he's a decent skater |
